Accreditation/CME Credit
 
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

There is a $25.00 CME Processing fee which covers the entire meeting including the Saturday dinner symposium, short courses, oral and poster presentations. Attendees who register for CME will need to complete an Annual Meeting evaluation on-line and then complete a CME request on-line for the number of hours attended. Information on completing the CME request will be emailed to registrants following the Annual Meeting.

CME for US Attendees:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and The Society of Medical Decision Making. The University of Alabama School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Alabama School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 30.75 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CME for Canadian attendees:
An accredited application for Canadian attendees has been submitted
to the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto for Royal College Section 1 (Specialists), and Canadian College of Family Physicians Mainpro-M1 credits (family physicians).

Based on the meeting agenda the following breakdown of CME hours is as follows.
