Short Courses - Overview and Detailed Descriptions

Short Course Overview

What are Short Courses?
Short courses are held the day before the annual meeting. Short Courses offer a great opportunity to learn something new from leaders in the field. Whether you're new to the field of medical decision making and attending your first meeting, or one of our Emeriti members, there is a short course for you. It is always a great way to start the meeting and to broaden your knowledge base.

In the past we have offered as many as five full day courses, five to eight morning half day courses and five to eight afternoon half day courses. Course size is general small varying from 10-15 up to 20-30 per course, depending on the materials being presented and hands on work being conducted during the course.

Registration for a short course is separate from and in addition to the annual meeting registration. You may register for a short course only, you do not need to register and attend the annual meeting in order to attend a short course.
  • Courses are subject to change.
  • Cancelation of a course is possible if registration for a particular course is low.
  • Note some courses do have a maximum attendee limit which is noted under the course details on-line.
