Overview of Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions
Click here to access detailed abstracts for Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions online.
Go to a variety of oral presentations. Ask questions. Don't feel that only the more senior members can ask questions following presentation of abstracts. Everyone is encouraged to make their way to the microphone - and to join the discussion. SMDM is a very friendly environment for our speakers - and our audience. Your questions will help clarify and challenge the science and strengthen its potential impact and perhaps modify its future direction.

SMDM receives many high quality abstract submissions for its annual meeting so many in fact that we can not accommodate
them all as oral presentations. In the best interest to the attendees we share these highly informative abstracts
through poster presentations so attendees will still benefit from the extensive information.
Poster sessions allow attendees to delve into and discuss the specifics of an abstract with the author in a one-on-one or small group setting. Approximately 40 - 50 posters will be presented at each session. Posters are changed for each session so be sure that you visit all poster sessions.
