The American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine (ACP-ASIM) is the nation's largest medical specialty society. Its mission is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of health care by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of medicine.

American Medical Informatics Association
AMIA is dedicated to the development and application of medical informatics in the support of patient care, teaching, research, and health care administration.

AcademyHealth
AcademyHealth is the professional home for health services researchers, policy analysts, and practitioners, and a leading, non-partisan resource for the best in health research and policy. AcademyHealth promotes interaction across the health research and policy arenas by bringing together a broad spectrum of players to share their perspectives, learn from each other, and strengthen their working relationships.

Association for Uncertainty in Artifical Intelligence
AUAI is a non-profit organization with the main purpose of running the annual Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence.

The Brunswik Society
The Brunswik Society is an informal association of researchers who are interested in understanding and improving human judgment and decision making.

Decision Analysis Society of INFORMS
The Society promotes the development and use of logical methods for the improvement of decision-making in public and private enterprise.

International Clinical Epidemiology Network
INCLEN is dedicated to improving the health of the people by promoting clinical practice based on the best evidence of effectiveness and the efficient use of resources.

International Health Economics Association
iHEA was formed to increase communication among health economists, foster a higher standard of debate in the application of economics to health and health care systems, and assist young researchers at the start of their careers.

International Medical Informatics Association
IMIA aims to promote informatics in health care and biomedical research, advance international cooperation, stimulate research, development and routine application, further the dissemination and exchange of information, and encourage education and responsible behaviour.

International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research
ISPOR's mission is to translate pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research into practice to ensure that society allocates scarce health care resources wisely, fairly and efficiently.

International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology
The International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) is a non-profit international professional membership organization dedicated to promoting pharmacoepidemiology, the science which applies epidemiologic approaches to studying the use, effectiveness, value and safety of pharmaceuticals. ISPE is firmly committed to providing an unbiased scientific forum to the views of all parties with interests in drug development, drug delivery, drug use, drug costs, and drug effects.

International Society for Quality of Life Research
ISOQOL was established to promote the scientific study of quality of life and health outcomes. The Society emphasizes the exchange of information from all countries in the world. Quality of life relevant to health and medical care is a central, but not exclusive focus of the Society. Other determinants of quality of life may include socioeconomic status, housing and the environment. Activities of the Society include international conferences and scientific publications.

International Society of Technology Assessment in Health Care
ISTAHC seeks to foster the application of high-quality and appropriate Health Technology Assessment in health care decision-making, by means of an interdisciplinary and international approach, encouraging the timely and effective dissemination of assessment information throughout the world, and supporting education and research in Health Technology Assessment.

Society of General Internal Medicine
An international organization of physicians and others who combine caring for patients with educating and/or doing research.

Society for Judgment and Decision Making
The Society for Judgment and Decision Making is an interdisciplinary academic organization dedicated to the study of normative, descriptive, and prescriptive theories of decision. Its members include psychologists, economists, organizational researchers, decision analysts, and other decision researchers.
